How to find your Google Business Profile login details

Learn how to find your Google Business Profile details

If you have a Google Business Profile (GBP) but are uncertain about who currently owns or manages it, the following guide will help you gain access to your existing GBP.

Check to see if you manage the GBP

You may already have management or ownership access to your Google business profile. To check, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to www.google.com and search for 'my business' in the search bar.
  2. Scroll down to see the list of businesses your Google account currently manages.
  3. If the GBP is not displayed, try logging into any other Google accounts you may own using the sign-in and sign-out buttons in the top right corner. Often an office@ email or a business owners personal email will be linked to the GBP.

Request ownership of the Google business profile

If you can not find the Google account that manages your GBP, request ownership or management of the GBP by following these steps:

  1. Follow this link to begin claiming ownership of your GBP
  2. Once logged in, search for the business using the exact name visible on the public GBP.

  3. Select the business from the dropdown menu
  4. Depending on the status of your GBP, you will be given the option to:
    1. 'Manage now'. Click the button and follow the prompts to manage the GBP.
    2. 'Request access'. This will alert the existing owner of your request and give the existing owner five days to grant your access. If the existing owner does not respond to your request, Google will send you an email with instructions on how to verify your right to own the profile via phone, video, or postcard.
