Understand the Status of your Invitations

This article provides a detailed overview of the various invitation statuses and their meanings.

The status of an invitation indicates the most recent activity undertaken on that invitation. The status is displayed under the status heading on your Invitation page.

Refer to the list below for a summary of all invitation statuses and their meaning. 
  • Sending in X hours means your invitation will be sent at the specified time. 
  • Invite limit reached means you have reached your monthly invitation limit.
  • SMS sent indicates that the SMS invitation has been successfully delivered to your client's mobile.
  • Clicked link indicates that the contact has interacted with the betterbunch link included in their SMS invitation. At this stage, they have not yet expressed whether they are happy or unhappy with their experience. Please note that this status is applicable solely to SMS invitations.

  • Email sent means that your invitation has been successfully delivered to your contact's email inbox. At this point, it also indicates that the customer has not yet opened the email invitation.
  • Opened means that the contact has viewed the email invitation. However, they have not indicated whether they were happy or unhappy with their experience yet. This status specifically applies to email invitations.
  • Clicked happy means the contact has received their invitation and indicated they were happy with your service. However, they have no taken the next step to leave a review yet. 
  • Promotor retargeting means that a promotor retargeting email has been sent.
  • Clicked review site means your contact indicated they were happy with your service and have proceeded to Google to leave a review.
    Note that if you can't see their glowing feedback online, your customer may have clicked the review site but decided not to leave a review this time. 
  • Clicked unhappy means your contact indicated they were unhappy with the service they received but have not provided an explanation. This could be a great opportunity to call the contact and ask for constructive feedback.
  • Provided feedback indicates that the contact was unhappy with the service they received and has provided details about their experience through the betterbunch service recovery platform, which is private. This is a great opportunity to address their concerns and improve their experience. Therefore, we recommend reaching out to them as soon as you get the chance.   • SMS failed to send indicates a connectivity issue or a system issue preventing the messages from leaving our gateway. If you notice this is occurring regularly, please contact support for help investigating. 
  • Email failed to send indicates invalid email formatting for an email address, a connectivity issue or a system issue preventing the messages from leaving our gateway. If you notice this is occurring regularly, please contact support for help investigating.
