How to Set Up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
Protect your account and customer data by adding an extra layer of security with Multi-Factor Authentication.
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) adds a second layer of security to your Betterbunch account. By requiring a verification code when you log in, your account stays secure, even if your password is compromised.
To set up MFA, you'll need an authenticator app installed on your cellphone or computer.
-
We recommend Authy, Google Authenticator, or Microsoft Authenticator.
-
If you don’t have an authenticator app yet, download one from your app store before moving onto the setup.
Turn on MFA in Betterbunch
-
First, log in to your Betterbunch account.
-
Go to Settings in the bottom-left menu.
-
Select the Security tab.
-
Click Enable MFA.
Connect your Authenticator App
-
Next, open the authenticator app on your phone or computer and select the option to add a new account.
-
Scan the QR code on your Betterbunch screen and follow the prompts to connect. If you can't scan the code, you can manually enter the text code below the QR code.
-
Once connected, your app will generate a 6-digit verification code.
-
Back in Betterbunch, tap Next.
-
Enter the 6-digit code from your phone into the textbox on your Betterbunch screen.
-
Click Verify to finish.
Once set up, you'llbe asked to enter a fresh code from your authenticator app every time you log in to Betterbunch.
