Where is the 'Sender Name' field used?

Learn where your Sender Name appears in Betterbunch invitations.

The Sender Name saved in your Betterbunch settings is used in:
  • Promoter Retargeting emails
  • Custom templates where you choose to add {sender_name}

Sender Name and SMS Sender ID

Your Sender Name is not the same as your SMS Sender ID.

For SMS invitations sent to Australian mobile numbers, customers will see Betterbunch as the Sender ID. This is because Betterbunch is a registered SMS Sender ID under Australia's anti-scam SMS requirements.

Your Sender Name or business name may still appear inside the SMS message itself, depending on the template you use.

How to update your Sender Name

  1. Log in to your Betterbunch account.
  2. Head to the Settings page on the bottom left of your dashboard.
  3. Navigate to the Business tab, which will display your business settings.
  4. Type your preferred name into the Sender name textbox.
  5. Hit Save
