Deleting an invitation

This article explains what invitations can be deleted and how to delete them

We're all human, and occasionally, we make minor errors, such as sending a feedback invitation to the wrong person or sending an invite using the wrong template. Things happen. 

Whether an invitation can be deleted or not depends on the individual invites invitation status.

Unfortunately, if an invitation has been sent, we can not delete or retract it. 

However, if an invite is pending, it can be deleted so that it is not delivered to your contact.

A pending invitation will display a Sending status or a Sending in X hours status inside your invitations log, similar to the example below.

How to delete a pending invitation 

Follow the steps below to delete a pending invitation. 

  1. Login to your betterbunch account

  2. Head to the Invitations page on the left menu 

  3. Review the status of the invitation you want to delete.
    Remember, if the status is Sending or Sending in X hours, then it can be deleted. If the invitation has been sent, then, unfortunately, it can not be retracted
  4. Hover over the grey oval that displays the invitation status, and a trash can will appear 
  5. Click the trash can to delete the pending invitation 

 

Once you have deleted the individual invitation, you may choose to add the contact to your blocklist,  or change your betterbunch settings to stop invitations from sending to repeat customers. You can also review the history of an invitation if you need to know more about it.
