Learn how to respond to Google reviews and why it's so important
Hooray! One of your customers has made an effort to review your service online. It's really important you take the time to respond to Google reviews (positive and negative) because:
- Google wants to be seen as a trustworthy source, therefore, Google considers reviews and responses in its ranking algorithm. Engaging with reviews can improve your local search ranking, making your business more visible.
- It shows the reviewer that you are grateful for their efforts, which fosters positive customer relationships.
- Responding shows the reader that you value customer service. Prospective customers are more likely to spend their money with a business that cares.

How to respond to a Google review

Login to your betterbunch account.

Navigate to the Reviews page on the left menu.
- Click the Name of the customer you'd like to respond to
- Click Reply to review in the top right corner of your screen to be directed to your Google Business Profile (GBP).
- Click Reply next to the review to respond.
Note: If the 'Reviews' page on the left menu does not display your Google reviews, you will need to connect your GBP to your dashboard.
