Cool off period explained

In this article, you'll learn what a cool off period is and how to set yours

A cool off period will block invitations to your repeat customers (the best kind of customers) within your chosen timeframe. For example, if you're an electrician, you may do regular work for a real estate agency. It might seem clingy to ask them for feedback on every job but it's really important to check in with them periodically to make sure they're still raving about your services.

We recommend setting your cool off period between 90 and 180 days - it's up to you.

How to set your cool off period

  1. Login to your betterbunch account

  2. Head to the Settings page on the bottom left of your dashboard

  3. From there, navigate to the Rules tab

  4. Add your keywords into the Cool off period box
  5. Click Save. It's that easy!

Just to note, if you manually send your bulk invitations or single invites, you will be met with a pop-up notice letting you know that someone is within your cool off period.

If you're happy to send them the invitation anyway, just select their name before hitting Send.

If you use Automation, the invitation will be blocked behind the scenes without causing any disruption to you.
Set and forget.
