The even better news is that betterbunch will cover the cost of this reward, so it comes at no expense to your business. Every quarter, our team will randomly select one winner. If the lucky winner happens to be your customer, we will arrange the prize and allow you to share the wonderful news with the winner.

How the Better Rewards program works for Outreach Invitations.
Caution: Google prohibits businesses from providing incentives in return for reviews, including payments, and free products or services. The Better Rewards program allows customers to enter a draw to win a $500 voucher in exchange for positive or negative feedback.
Users mustn't inform customers that leaving a positive review is a requirement for entry into the draw.
How the Better Rewards program works with Shareables
Shareables include ready-to-print Shareable posters, flyers, and other pre-designed material, as well as QR Codes that can be used to create your own Shareables, and Links that can be shared with customers online.
To encourage interaction with Shareables, we can turn them into Better Rewards Invitations. This means that when a contact shares their feedback via your Shareable, they will enter into the draw.
Here's how it works.
- A contact scans the QR code in your Shareable or clicks on your betterbunch Link.
- They will be asked to provide their name and email address to enter the draw.
- After submitting their contact details, they will be asked to share whether they were happy or unhappy with your service.
- Happy contacts will be asked to share a review on your chosen review site and told they have entered the draw
- Unhappy contacts will be asked to provide their feedback and told they have entered the draw
All ready-to-print Shareables are automatically included in the Better Rewards program.
For betterbunch QR codes and Links, enrollment in the Better Rewards program is optional. You can decide whether the QR code or Link will enrol customers in the draw by simply turning the Better Rewards toggle ON when creating the links or QR code.
How the Better Rewards program works for Outreach Invitations
Outreach invitations include SMS or email invitations delivered to your contacts via the betterbunch platform.
Outreach invitations include single invitations, bulk invitations, and invitations created via automation.
When choosing your default SMS and default email templates, select the template named Better Rewards 1 from the dropdown selection.
Going forward, all new invitations will use this messaging to inform customers of the opportunity to win $500 when they share feedback.
Below is an example of the SMS and email invites your customers will receive (using your business name, of course), and here's an example of what your customers would experience when they interact with your Better Rewards invitation.
Note: the Better Reward 1 SMS template, and the Better Reward 1 email templates can not be personalised.
Drawing the winners
If your customer is the lucky winner of the $500 gift card, betterbunch will contact your business so you can share the great news with them. We respect your relationship with your customers and will not reach out to the winner on your behalf.
The reward of $500 is provided by betterbunch and is drawn once per quarter across all entries, not just those from your business.

Q: How often is the prize drawn?
A: Our team will draw a random prize winner each quarter on the first week of the new quarter. If your customer is the lucky winner, betterbunch will notify you and ask that you contact the customer with the happy news.

Q: Can I offer a prize for leaving a Google review instead of feedback?
A: Google has a strict Prohibited and restricted content policy that states a business can not offer an incentive or prize in exchange for a Google review.
Better Rewards offers the chance to win in exchange for sharing feedback and not specifically for Google reviews. It is made clear that customers enter the draw simply by indicating whether they are happy or unhappy with their experience—they do not need to type a message or Google review to qualify for entry into the draw.
Q: Will I incur any costs associated with the Better Rewards program?
A: No. The best part is that betterbunch will provide the reward at no cost to your business.
Q: Can I change the text in the Better Reward SMS and email invitation?
A: No. Unfortunately, the Better Rewards SMS wording is fixed so you can not alter the wording. This is a feature we are considering introducing in the future though. If it is something you're interested in, please let us know so we can add your Upvote to our product backlog to help prioritise its development.
